RammSanderson is very pleased to announce that we have recently completed our UDVB (Utilities Vendor Database) Achilles Accreditation, achieving an overall score of 100%.
The Achilles Accreditation will enable to RammSanderson to get on the UDVB framework and promote its ecology, arboriculture and flood risk management services to buyers in the Utilities sector which include Severn Trent Water, National Grid and Cadent Gas.
Achilles was founded in Norway in 1990 with the goal of helping organisations to identify, assess, qualify, and monitor suppliers throughout the supply chain with an aim of reducing operating costs.
Buyers use UVDB to search for pre-qualified companies who have demonstrated they have the capabilities and processes in place to undertake a service relevant to their requirements.
In order to achieve the Achilles UDVB accreditation, RammSanderson had to undergo a formal auditing process which assessed our ability to demonstrate Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ) capabilities.
Commenting on the accreditation, RammSanderson, Director, Nick Sanderson said “This is fantastic news for RammSanderson. Being on the UDVB will enable us to win the type of work we want to win, with the type of clients that we want to work for. There are a number of new developments which have recently been announced within the Midlands region, so this is an opportune time to be named on the framework, to hopefully win new business.”
